Secondly, whatever your design idea is, BA Architects consultation will help you to better understand your options. Your journey working with BA Architects will be part of a five-step process:
1. DEVELOP A BRIEF
During this stage we will meet with you and discuss your needs and wants in a home, to assist you in forming your brief. During this time we will form a grasp on what your visions, expectations, timeframe and budget is for the process.

2. DESIGN RESPONSE
During this stage we will develop a design that responds to your brief and the site. You will be provided with sketches and diagrams to explain the main ideas of the project. Upon the completion of this phase we will move forward to design development.
3. DESIGN DEVELOPMENT
After approval of the design, BA Architects will continue to develop these designs further. During this stage we will evaluate the design in more detail against constrictions such as the budget, constructability and council regulations. Elevations, sections, perspectives and renders will be provided to you at this stage. Once you have approved the design, we will submit them for council approval.
4. CONTRACT DOCUMENTATION
During this stage very detailed and accurate drawings as well as specifications will be provided and submitted to council for building approval. Ready for the building phase!5. CONSTRUCTION AND CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION
During this stage we will inspect the works so that the project is built in accordance to the documents we have provided. We will act as an independent party to ensure that the construction contract is executed in accordance with the terms of the contract. This means we will help you to select your builder and carry out construction visits to ensure that the building is completed to the best standard.We will be with you every step of the way to ensure the best project outcome
I was very satisfied with the overall outcome of the project, especially the design aspects that were suggested by BA Architects that were not originally in the brief. BA Architects came up with many great design ideas that we hadn’t thought of and were incorporated into the final design of the home. I appreciated the level of detail and consideration BA Architects went to, especially the recommendations for specific sustainable materials and products, which created our Brisbane home.
